PSA Screening at Yankee Stadium – Before and During the Red Sox @ Yankees Game
Thursday, September 20 @ 7:05 pm
Together with NewYork-Presbyterian and its partners Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medicine, Fans for the Cure is pleased to host a PSA Screening for men at Yankee Stadium in connection with Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
In-Stadium PSA Screening
These free screenings – a simple, easy way to test for prostate cancer – will be conducted by NewYork-Presbyterian urologists under the direction of Dr. James J. McKiernan, Urologist-in-Chief, NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, who sits on our charity’s Medical Advisory Board. Dr. McKiernan and his colleagues will conduct screenings for men over 40.
The blood test for the PSA screening, as well as the distribution of prostate cancer awareness materials, will take place prior to and during the game between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Screenings will be available from 3:00 p.m.
The testing area and information tables will be located within the Stadium gates in Section 220, adjacent to the River Avenue escalators. To reach our location, you will need a ticket to the game itself.
Tickets for the September 20th Red Sox @ Yankees game can be purchased at several online ticket locations, including the Yankees’ official website. There is a link to the website provided below.
